For the fifth year, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) will host the StormTV Project. However, this year the project will be an exhibition instead of a competition. The program recognizes and highlights the work of stormwater professionals while collecting and sharing great ideas, so communities can learn from one another.
From June 10 to July 15, WEF will be accepting videos of innovative stormwater programs, practices, products, and public outreach. Organizations can submit up to 10 videos in one of four categories: public education, training, commercial, and programs and projects.
Some changes for this year:
- This year the project will be an exhibition instead of a competition.
- Videos are limited to 5 minutes in length.
- Videos must be noncommercial (not selling a specific product or service).
Selected videos will be screened in the Stormwater Pavilion at the WEFTEC® 2016 in New Orleans.
All eligible videos will be added to WEF’s StormTV Project YouTube playlist. They also will be featured on the Stormwater Report website.
Submit videos by July 15. Read more about the StormTV Project and submission guidelines.
Is there a disadvantage of any kind if we submit more than one video in the same category? Thanks!
No disadvantage at all. The goal is to collect a wide range of the communications that people are using surrounding stormwater.
