On July 1, the construction industry research and information association (CIRIA), based in London, UK, released a spreadsheet-based tool and associated guidance for assessing the benefits of sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS). With the Benefits of SuDS Tool, called BeST for short, users can evaluate a wide range of benefits, typically based on overall drainage system performance, without the need for full-scale economic inputs. The tool walks users through the process of quantifying and estimating the financial value of each benefit, with an output of charts and graphs based on ecosystem services and triple-bottom-line criteria.
Wow!! great innovation and I hope this will make a huge impact in urban places. And this is my request to have a look at this new multi-touch technology – http://themeetingwall.com/
