In July, the White House Council on Environmental Quality and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hosted meetings on water infrastructure financing. The Water Environment Federation (WEF) will continue that conversation, pushing the envelope on innovative financing in the stormwater sector. The forum — Session 624: Innovative Stormwater Infrastructure Finance Forum — will take place at the Stormwater Congress from 1:15-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Adler Room (CC24).
Three expert panels covering state revolving fund leveraging, public-private partnerships and incentive-based programs will present their perspectives and engage with the audience during discussions. EPA will provide remarks, and the event will be moderated by Matt Millea, Deputy County Executive with Onondaga County (Syracuse), New York. Read more.
