The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently added stormwater general permits to its Web-based inventory of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits. Users can easily search the inventory of 767 nonstormwater and stormwater general permits via search options, such as by EPA region and permitting authority. The Web inventory links to general permits that are available on state websites, so that the specific permit terms can be easily viewed.
