In December, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released the Climate Resilience Evaluation & Awareness Tool 2.0 (CREAT 2.0). Utilities can use the tool to assess the risks of climate change to their facilities and explore adaptation scenarios. CREAT 2.0 improves on the previous version by providing local historical climate data and more-comprehensive downscaled climate change projections. This tool is available to utilities of all sizes and types to consider multiple climate change scenarios and effects at multiple locations.
